Evening class  |  4 weeks |

Limited to 8 places  (min. 4 students required)
Tutor:  Andrew Watson

Course Description:
This intermediate course is ideal for those who have completed a beginner’s course and are looking to take their photography further.  As a pre-requisite, students should have a good understanding of DSLR basics and be comfortable with the manual controls of their camera.

The course is focused around learning new techniques to bring creativity and a compositional eye to your images. Different areas of photography such as portraiture, landscape, travel & night photography will be looked at. Creative use of shutter speed and “depth of field” will be taught, as well as the use of lenses for framing.  Students will learn how to fine-tune their exposure and focus, as well as how to best utilise natural light and flash.

Evening classes consist of practical tuition, some theory and a review of assignment work – designed to help put everything learnt into practice.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments provided.
